This is an English translation of the original Dutch text. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Dutch version shall prevail.

Cyprus Vastgoed ("we", "us", "our") attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy we explain which data we collect, why we do so and what rights you have. We act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you submit a request via our contact form, we process the following data:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Region and budget preference
• The content of your message

2.2 Website visits

Each time you visit our website, technical data may be recorded, such as:

• IP address (anonymised)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time of visit
• Referring website (referrer)

2.3 Cookies

We use functional cookies to store your language preference and cookie choice. Please see our cookie policy for more information.

• Responding to your contact or advice request
• Offering suitable property advice and relevant properties
• Improving our services and website
• Complying with legal obligations

We process your data solely on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) or a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your contact details for longer than is necessary to handle your request, up to a maximum of two years after the last contact. After that, the data is securely destroyed.

5. Do we share your data with third parties?

We never sell your personal data to third parties. We work with the following processors:

• EmailJS – for forwarding contact forms (data processing agreement in place)

No personal data is transferred outside the EU unless adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with the GDPR.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• Access – you can request which data we hold about you
• Rectification – you can have incorrect data corrected
• Erasure – you can request that your data be erased ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction – you can ask us to restrict the processing
• Portability – you can request your data in a commonly used format
• Objection – you can object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdrawal of consent – you can withdraw consent you have given at any time

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our website uses HTTPS encryption.

8. Complaints

Do you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data? You can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. The most recent version is always available on this page. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you by email if we have your contact details.
